Deposit & Refund Policy

This page summarizes the deposit and payment terms of our Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee. If anything here differs from your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.

The $500 deposit

• A $500 deposit holds the puppy of your choice.
• The deposit is non-refundable. It takes your puppy off the market for every other family.
• Please read the Health Guarantee completely before putting a deposit on a puppy. By putting down a deposit, you agree to the terms of the adoption agreement.
• Please be certain you are ready for the time, commitment and financial responsibility of a puppy before placing a deposit.

Transferring your deposit

Your deposit can move to another available puppy at any time. It stays non-refundable.

When you can get a refund

Your deposit can be refunded in full, or moved to another puppy, at your choice, if:

• there is a problem with your puppy's health before go-home, or
• your puppy becomes unavailable because of sickness, death, or any other circumstance that is our fault.

Paying the balance

• Credit card: balance due 3 days before your go-home date.
• E-check/ACH: balance due 5 days before your go-home date.
• Your puppy can't go home until payment has fully cleared.
• The puppy price does not include shipping or delivery. Flight nanny delivery is available; we quote the cost when you're ready to book, since flight prices change.

When a deposit is forfeited

You forfeit the deposit and any rights to the puppy if you don't complete the purchase for any reason, or if the balance isn't paid by the deadline above. In either case we're free to place the puppy with another family.

Boarding past go-home

If we board your puppy past the agreed go-home date, there is a boarding fee of $20 per day.
